Getting Started
Once you've bought a Beanie 2.0, cut off its blue hang tag to open it up. In it, there should be a grey rectangle. Take a coin or a pair of scissors and (carefully) scratch off this bar. It will reveal a series of numbers and letters. OR, your Beanie could have the code in the heart-shaped hang tag. These codes are used when entering your Beanie on ty.com.
Registering and Entering
When you have your code go to the Ty website and click on "New Member" above the video box. This will take you to a screen with three options: New User, Returning User, and Ty Girlz User. If you already have a Ty Girlz account, you can click on that an enter your Beanie's code.
If you do not have an account yet, click on "New User." A box should come up and ask for your code. Enter this and then it will take you to a registering questionaire.
Simply fill-out the questions asked. DO NOT enter the Beanie's information (such as birthday and name). This is asking for your info, not your Beanie's!
It should also ask you to name your Beanie and pick it's gender. Then it will give you a birth certificate for you to print out and keep.
Once you have this completed it will ask you to go to Beanie Land!
Starting and Playing
The next screen after you've registered is a mini-video. This is one of three videos depending on the Beanie entered. The videos is different depending on which Beanie you have. At the end of each video, your Beanie is animated into its online avatar. After this, you go to Beanie Land.
Treehouse/Home Screen
The Treehouse is where your Beanie lives. It is also the first place you visit when entering Beanieland. Every Beanie you register is given its own Room in the Treehouse. Clicking on the Treehouse itself brings you into your room.

3D Rooms
Each of your registered Beanies gets its own 3D Room in the Treehouse to decorate with different floor and wall designs.
In addition to the floor and wall designs, you can further customize your 3D Room by adding furniture, games, and activities. These decorative room items can be purchased at the General Store, given to you as a Gift or Reward, or won through games and activities.
You may change your active Beanie at any time by accessing the My Beanies button on the Dock.

Room Controls
Using the arrow keys or mouse, your 3D Beanie can walk around your room. If you own multiple rooms (by owning multiple Beanies), you can walk from room to room with any of your Beanies. Your Beanie may also sit or lay on the furniture you place there. Below is an explanation on how the Room Controls work:
[1] Camera View - Click here to change between still and free camera controls. The still camera freezes the camera at one particular Room view. The free camera allows you to view your room at any angle you wish.
[2] Camera Control - Click on the arrow to switch camera angles.
[3] Zoom - Click and drag the slider to zoom in or out to view your room from up close or further away.
[4] My Rooms - Each Beanie you register will receive its own room in your Treehouse. A map of your rooms may be accessed and arranged by clicking on the My Rooms button. This map will show you where rooms are located. You may place or remove rooms from the map as you please. You can also give your room a special name.
[5] My Music - The My Music button shows you the music selection that is currently playing in your room. You can purchase additional music from the General Store. Your music is stored in your Dock. Simply click on the icon in the Dock and drag it to the My Music button to change the music playing in your room. If you do not want music playing, simply select and drag the "No Music" icon to your My Music button.
Avatars (Beanies)
The Beanies you register by entering your secret code become animated versions of your plush toys on the website, opening up a whole new virtual world! You may change your Beanie at any time by clicking the My Beanies button on the Dock. Each Beanie requires tender loving care to keep it happy, healthy, and hunger-free. Clicking on How I Feel in your Dock will bring up meter panels that show just how much food, exercise, or socializing your Beanie needs.

General Store
Buy Furniture, Clothes, Seeds, and other Special Items that you will need in Beanieland. Harriet Honeypot will steer you through the ordering process. It's easy!

Swim in the pool, ride the exercise bike or climb the rock wall. Whatever you choose, make sure to try and beat the best time. The better you do, the higher your How I Feel Meter will be!

Dr. Know
Dr. Know may seem a little crazy, but he knows what's best for your Beanie. Take your Beanie to see Dr. Know and he will help your Beanie feel better. The Beanie Vet-O-Scan will scan your Beanie from head-to-toe and will tell Dr. Know what prescription to write. Feel Good!

Going to the Salon is a great way to increase your Beanie's health. Select from the different treatments you would like for your Beanie and watch as your Beanie gets pampered!

Food Court
Beanieland has more food options than ever before. Choose the type of food you would like from the dropdown menu and the food stand of your choice will rotate into place. Each food stand has something special for you — and remember, food helps your hunger level.
